We are taking a look at local events taking place in and around Reigate during the Easter holidays. We’ve outlined some of the local events everyone in the family can enjoy together. Regardless of how you celebrate Easter, whether it be eating your bodyweight in chocolate, attending your local Church Easter service or just enjoying spring walks and a Sunday roast, make sure to add one or two of these events to your itinerary to make it an eggsellent Easter holiday!
Adam Aaronson Glass Studio
Adam Aaronson’s Glass Studio have a very special offer on this Easter. From the 2nd of April, Easter holiday camps and courses for kids will be starting over at AquaSports. With the holidays fast approaching, now is the time to book on to the Easter holiday kids camps and courses. Bocketts Farm
Enjoy a great family day out this Spring, as the lambing season has arrived! With over 500 gorgeous newborn lambs due and ‘Meet the Shepherd’ sessions daily, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn about the lambs and even watch one being born. Box Hill
Over at Box Hill, there are various Easter events going on over the holidays. There is an Easter trail through the natural play area with different games and challenges along the way. The trail costs £3 per trail and takes place from 29th March – 14th April. As well as this eggciting trail there is also Egg Rolling. Over the bank holiday weekend, the traditional rolling will take place down the big hill at 11am and 3pm. Participants must bring fabulously decorated boiled eggs all the way to the top of the hill just to watch them roll all the way back down. The best decorated egg wins a prize! British Wildlife Centre
This Easter the British Wildlife Centre opens daily for three weeks from March 23rd to April 14th, giving plenty of opportunity to discover Britain’s wonderful wildlife. They’ve got everything from tiny harvest mice to magnificent red deer; rarely spotted species such as otters and red squirrels, plus foxes, owls, and badgers. On Easter Sunday, children can join the Easter Trail to spot eggs located amongst the animals. If children spot them all, they'll win a small chocolate treat and the chance to win Annual Membership for a family of up to 6.
Brooklands Museum
Further out in Addlestone, Brooklands Museum is hosting an Easter Classic car day. Expect fun for all the family on Saturday 30th March, with hundreds of classic cars, supercars, live music, food stalls and a BBQ! Make a day of it with access to planes, buses, cars, simulators and all of Brooklands Museum included in the day ticket price.
Caterham Valley
Over in the Caterham Valley High Street, the Easter Bunny has invited his duck friends to his party but they’ve got lost along way. Can you help him find them all and discover where the party is? The Passion of Jesus – live production in Trafalgar Square
100 Wintershall actors bring to life the final days of Jesus in this 90-minute production. There is a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion so parental guidance is advised.
