The Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development (RACPD) is a leading provider of nationally recognised civilian qualifications to the Royal Artillery, other Service personnel and the wider Defence community. Operating as a charity, they were looking to raise their brand profile and expand their reach across their target audience. The team already had a Communications Manager in place and were looking for additional support to facilitate a brand update and website redesign.
To achieve RACPD's business goals of growth and more accurately reflect their offering, the company needed to modernise the brand to consolidate their market positioning for personable service and progressive learning for military personnel. Following a website audit, Your Marketing Team worked alongside the RACPD Communications Manager and our design partners to evolve their brand identity and create a new website.
It was important to keep the heritage of the brand at the centre of the refreshed brand design. We developed the brand identity around the original Royal Artillery colours of red and blue and iconography representative of military rank chevrons. The chevrons were modernised to also represent arrows of development and progress. By adding a complimentary mustard to the brand colour palette, the refreshed identity opened up new avenues of design to implement across all communications.
