Background
Laurie has more than 15 years' marketing experience across travel, leisure, hospitality, tech and financial services. She hails from beautiful Dorset and then moved to London after university where she worked on the commercial development for London Zoo. Laurie then moved to Sydney for 9 months, but ended up staying for five years. After a spell at ANZ Bank she moved to Royal Caribbean International where she was involved in the launch of Australasia's largest cruise ship as well as the brand's first TV campaign. England was calling so she moved back to London where she started working at Accor Hotels and later easyHotel. Building on her experience, Laurie moved into marketing consultancy in 2020 after starting a family and joined Your Marketing Team earlier this year.
Expertise
Laurie has held some very broad marketing roles so has gained experience across the whole marketing mix ranging from media planning and TV campaigns to digital display and social media to websites and events. Her specialism lies in strategy and brand management and she also loves content planning with a passion to help SME's realise their full potential through a blend of marketing tactics.

Laurie has a BA (Hons) degree in Tourism Management. She also volunteers her marketing expertise to the SASH Maternity Voices Partnership which aims to improve maternity services and experiences through giving a voice to women and birthing people. Outside of work she is passionate about health and fitness and home organisation but that is largely on hold for now as she runs around after her three young children.
