With the Easter break upon us, we take a look at what’s happening in and around Reigate over the holidays. We’ve found plenty to keep all ages entertained, from kid-friendly Easter egg hunts to festivals for the foodies. Our top pick has to be Total Bounceout in Priory Park, Reigate – a giant inflatable obstacle course over 360ft. The award-winning local vineyard is proving that chocolate isn’t just for the kids this Easter. The Chocolate Fair will showcase delicious treats from local and national chocolatiers. Visitors will also enjoy expert advice on chocolate and wine pairings and the opportunity to meet the chocolatiers.

27th and 28th April, 10am-7pm
Whilst not over the Easter weekend, this looks well worth a visit! With chef and foodie demos, food and drink stalls showcasing local produce, a kids zone, and the opportunity to support local charities, it promises to be a ‘thoroughly extravagant foodie sensual assault’! The festival will be held at Old Deer Park, Richmond.
Cost: Adult tickets can be bought online for £10, Young Adult (12-18yrs) tickets are £5, Under 12’s are free.
Saturday, 27th April 12-11pm
Old Reigatian Rugby Club will be hosting a ‘Beer and Bubbles Festival’. 100% of the profits from the event will help tackle Motor Neurone Disease, raising funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and local charity All About Alie. This will be a full-day event, showcasing around 20 beers along with a prosecco bar. There will also be a programme of live music and children’s activities until 6pm.

Live music at The Garibaldi Community Pub, Redhill
Easter Sunday, 5-7pm
The community-run Garibaldi Pub are hosting a live music event with Kelly Bennett, featuring Will Robertson.
Luke Edney performing live at The Bulls Head, Reigate
Easter Saturday from 8.30pm
The signer/songwriter from Surrey returns to The Bulls Head on Easter Saturday, bringing his loop pedal and unique country rock twang.

The Passion of Jesus at Trafalgar Square
Friday 19th April, 12-3:15pm
Supported by the Mayor of London, 100 Wintershall Players return to Trafalgar Square with a live re-enactment of Jesus’ last days on Good Friday. The award-winning live drama production features volunteers from across London as well as horses, donkeys and doves. Parental guidance advised.

The Southbank Centre hosts Tabby McTat, a heart-warming family theatre show based on the book written by Julia Donaldson.
