2024, the summer of more! More fun, more family time, (more rain than we expected…) but come rain or shine, add some of these activities to your itinerary to make it a summer to remember.


Holiday Camps at Aqua Sports


This summer at Aqua Sports there will be teen/youth water sports programmes taking place. Specifically designed for teens, their youth programmes encourage advanced learning and independence on the water. For those aged 8-13 there is the option of a multi-activity day as well which involves a range of fun activities both on and off the water.


Immersion theatre presents Peter Pan at Hatchlands


Multi-award nominated Immersion Theatre are coming to Hatchlands Park on 24th August with an immersive theatre experience of Peter Pan for all of the family. Filled with catchy music, heaps of audience interaction, and a laugh-a-minute script, this musical of the boy who never grew up promises to have every member of the family hooked.


Denbies Children’s Animal Explorer


Head to Denbies on 21st August for their brand new event where individuals can get up close and personal with real live exotic animals!

Join Zoolab for the chance to meet the likes of snakes, spiders, giant snails and more in this fantastic animal encounter experience. Learn all about and experience the thrill of holding these awesome animals in this interactive session for all ages.


Pop up Children’s theatre at Polesden Lacey


Over at Polesden Lacey, on Saturday 3rd & 10th August, People’s Theatre Company will present A Treasure Hunt Adventure Story and on Saturday 17th & 31st August, The Cat's Grin Theatre company will return with their wonderfully creative and funny interpretations of scenes from Shakespeare's plays.


Summer of Fun on the farm at Bocketts Farm


Enjoy a fun filled family day out at Bocketts Farm this summer! From 20th July-1st September your family can hop on board the tractor and trailer ride, cheer on your favourite pig in the pig race and meet hundreds of friendly farm animals. Your children will love to complete the wildlife stamp trail, pan for gold, play water wars and boogie in the bubble disco! With plenty of play and animals to meet indoors and out, you can be sure to have a great day out whatever the weather.


Chessington Summer festival at Chessington World of Adventures


At Chessington this summer, there will be a summer festival with a variety of activities. For £35 each, you get entry to the theme park, zoo and Sea Life as well as a foam party and silent disco! Head to their website to book!


Historic cookery at Hampton Court


Every weekend and on bank holidays, Hampton Court Palace are running Historic cooking classes for everyone! Explore Henry VIII’s bustling kitchens with their historic kitchens team and find out more about the types of food fit for a King… or a skowerer.


Holiday Camps at Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance


Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance are hosting smmer camps! For children aged 4-10 you can bop along for one, two, three or more days and partake in dance, drama, singing, craft and games. For those aged 2-7, they are also hosting 30-minute dance classes in Priory Park. Join them for a boogie this summer!


Globetrotters Mini Golf at Tilgate Park


A nine-hole golf course that is the perfect challenge for the whole family. The course is designed to take you around the world from the similar surroundings of Tilgate Park. You’ll be able to see miniature versions of the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza and the Sydney Opera House. Available from 26th July – 1st September, book to take on the challenge here.


Guildford Comic Con and Toy Fair

For an event where you and your family can geek out on all things film and TV head to Guildford for their Comic Con and Toy Fair. There will be retro gaming, facepainting, a green screen photo booth, movie cars on display and lots of exhibitors selling everything from Star Wars to Pokemon.


Thorpe Lakes Summer Camps


Thorpe Lakes is home to an Aqua Park with challenging obstacles and exciting activities. It’s a fun-filled experience for all ages and skill levels.

As well as the on-the-water obstacle course, children who want to develop their wakeboarding skills can attend their kids club which runs on Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri & Weekends during the summer holidays from 10am-12pm.

Kids Club is suitable for everyone from first-timers to advanced youth riders.

ChilliFest at Dorking Brewery


Maybe you prefer your heat in edible form rather than sunshine? If you think you can handle the heat Dorking Brewery are putting on ChilliFest on 20th July. Take on 8 rounds of extreme heat to win a year of free beer!


Surrey Gin Fest


Surrey Gin Fest is returning to Loseley Park on 7th September! You can expect to find over 250 gins to try, delicious artisan food stalls and a retail village with live music going on all day.
